Installing a domestic hard-wired burglar alarm from scratch is not usual nowadays due to laminate flooring and other obstacles.
Updating an old system by testing and re-using existing cables and installing new equipment is the most cost-effective.
If there is no old system that needs updating, we recommend installing a wire-free alarm system.

The technological advances of professional wire-free intruder alarms over recent years have made their use commonplace. Long-life Lithium battery technology has extended the battery change frequency to two years.

Audible Alarms
(Bells Only)
“Bells only” alarms may be appropriate for most typical dwellings. However, it depends on the property's location, the lifestyle or nature of the occupier, and the content.
This is generally the most common option. If the alarm is triggered, an audible alarm sounds to alert you (or a neighbour) that an intruder has entered (or is trying to enter) the premises.
We use alarm control equipment designed to be user-friendly and easy to use. Our keypads have code or key tag operations. The single-action key tag operation is used to set or unset the alarm. For example, producing the key tag to the keypad starts the exit timer, and setting begins; producing the key tag again un-sets the alarm.

Smartphone Alert and Control
Some customers prefer the additional option of a smartphone App alert.
The end-user App embraces the smartphone revolution and offers an easy-to-use App for viewing event logs, receiving push notifications, and controlling the alarm system fully.

Alarm Monitoring
Monitored alarms for ‘police response’ is not usual for dwellings unless the risk of loss is high or is stipulated by your insurance company.
The system installed may be the same or similar to a ‘Bells Only Alarm’ except that when the alarm is activated, a signal informs our Alarm Receiving Centre.
Monitoring Services
They may confirm that the alarm is not false and if necessary, they inform the Police and keyholder.
